Our Church Staff

Pastor, Dr. T Reynolds Hall and wife, Jean Hall

Thomas Reynolds Hall was born in Mayfield, Georgia, in 1935. At the age of seven his family moved to the Wellston Community in central Georgia. That community later became Warner Robins. It was at Warner Robins, at the age of nine during a revival meeting, he trusted Christ as his personal Savior. He graduated from Warner Robins High School and later married his high school sweetheart, Jean. He was introduced to a career in electronics by following in the footsteps of his father.

He attended the University of Maine, the University of Colorado and Alan Hancock College in Santa Maria, California. While working for the US Government in the field of airborne electronics, he was offered a position with the Arma Division of American Bosch-Arma Corporation in the Garden City, Long Island, New York. Over the course of the next nine years with American Bosch, he was promoted from the Engineering Division to management with the company. It was while serving as the Central States Division Manager, at SAC Headquarters, Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, Nebraska, that God called him into the ministry. He graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College with majors in Bible and Theology and from Luther Rice Seminary with the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees.

He served as Interim Pastor for Karen Street Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska, and Calvary Baptist Church in Walnut, Iowa. He pastored Clio Baptist Church in Clio, Iowa, for two years; Temple Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska, for seven years; Calvary Baptist Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan, for fifteen years, and Bethel Baptist Church in Hartselle, Alabama, for five years. He has a heart for world missions and Christian education. He has personally ministered in foreign missions on five different continents where he has had the privilege of preaching, teaching and taking part in personal evangelism. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for Baptist World Mission for over 22 years. He has been active in Christian schools on the elementary and high school level as well as the college level. He has organized and helped develop Christian day schools and served as board member on state Christian school associations. He has taught on the college level and served as chairman of the board and board member of a Bible college.

God blessed Reynolds and Jean with four sons and one daughter. They are all serving the Lord from South Carolina, to Alabama to Colorado to Michigan and to Maryland. Retiring from the active pastorate at Bethel Baptist Church, he said: “I want to keep on serving the Lord wherever and however He chooses. The blessings of the Lord have been so abundant I can’t begin to count them.” Now, in 2017, after a four-year pastorate in Tennessee and a minister in Revival and Bible Conference preaching, Bethel Baptist of Hartselle, Alabama, has asked him to serve as their pastor.
